3/23/08 Note: If you've seen our expenses below, you may have seen our $2,000 retainer for an
attorney. I just want to say that I understand your concern, however, I did not expect anything
regarding Milo and his needs to go "sour." Because of some issues that have arisen, I felt the
need to protect Milo; the website; everyone else involved; my other pit bulls; and felt I needed
to ensure that I'm doing everything legally and properly on Milo's behalf. I also want to say that
at first I wasn't too concerned, but I have been threatened regarding my dogs. I wasn't going to
publish that information, but people have been asking about the attorney fee. I have nothing to
hide from Milo's supporters, so here's the information up front and personal. By the way, the
threats have been reported to the Kent Police. Long story short, I will do everything I can to
protect my dogs and Milo.
